Description:We are Lockheed Martin
Air System Analysis and Verification Operations team is seeking a senior Systems Engineer (Level 4). Our team is part of the Systems Engineering organization. Air System Analysis & Verification Operations team delivers comprehensive analysis, develops custom tools, plans infrastructure, and provides verification support. The Systems Engineer (Level 4) will partner with program engineering and technical stakeholders to orchestrate technical integration, schedule coordination, and risk management of subsystem development activities.
You will leverage in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following domains:
Weapons, Fusion, Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optical Distributed Aperture System (EO/DAS). Where you will guide cross-functional teams, define analytical requirements, and ensure technical compliance throughout the system-engineered lifecycle. Your dual focus will ensure that analytical tools, methodologies, and verification activities are tightly coupled with subsystem development schedules, delivering verified, high-performance solutions that satisfy cost, schedule, and performance objectives while complying with DoD and LM standards.
• Define analytics and analysis needs, tool requirements, and evaluation metrics.
• Establish and champion analysis methods, techniques, and best practice procedures.
• Mentor analysts, review technical analysis reports, and ensure rigorous documentation.
• Own technical integration of subsystem development activities across the teams portfolio.
• Coordinate schedules with cross-functional partners, maintaining alignment with overall program milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and schedule risks; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Work with infrastructure and custom-tool teams to ensure verification support meets performance and compliance requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, test-readiness reviews, and verification checkpoints, guaranteeing adherence to DoD and LM standards.
• Partner with discipline teams (Weapons, Radar, EW, EO/DAS, etc.) to integrate analytics into subsystem testing and validation.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to capture requirements, provide status updates, and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Drive adoption of innovative analysis methods while ensuring they fit within the system-engineered schedule and budget.
• Understand and drive project scope, Conduct Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, PI Planning, PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demo, Retrospective, Inspect & Adapt.
• Collaborate with product & technical owners to define work scope and flow, Epics/Features descriptions, acceptance criteria, business value or progress.
• Track work against delivery milestones and integrate with Earned Value Management (EVM) and the program Cost Assessment Model (CAM).

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (System Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, etc.), Mathematics, or similar STEM field from an accredited college
• Significant Sensor / System / Platform (Weapons, Fusion, Radar, EW or EO/DAS) knowledge/experience
• Demonstrated history of analysis and critical thinking
• Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated skills of analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Tableau
• Strong communications skills
• Strong technical leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems
• Demonstrated strong project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to take a project concept to successful completion
• Experience with project management using Agile process, Scrum, and JIRA
