Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Harness, Wiring, or Cable design/schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for researching, developing, and defining Electrical Power System (EPS) architecture, schematics, and requirements in close partnership with system engineering and specialist disciplines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform electrical load analysis, verification, and validation to support EPS architecture balance.
- Design and verify EPS state diagrams and ensure compliance with airworthiness, survivability, and functional requirements.
- Manage technical supplier interactions, conduct testing, and evaluate power-quality for generators, converters, batteries, and associated controllers.
- Develop power-distribution switching concepts, conduct coordination studies, and select appropriate isolation protection devices.
- Produce clear technical documentation and communicate findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.
