The primary purpose of this position is: to provide technical and managerial support in logistics programs and mobility
planning, management of MXG resources for assigned weapon system, personnel utilization and assignment, manpower
authorizations, Status of Resources and Training (SORTS) reporting, and to assist in position control, commercial contracts,
and small computer management.
GS-07
The primary purpose of this position is: This is a developmental position with known promotion potential to the target position of CPD (Logistics Management Specialist, (GS-0346-09). Incumbent works closely with the supervisor in performing duties identified in the full performance standard core personnel document/core document.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Detailed working knowledge in the areas of organization, management, manpower, and other related areas. Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance organization principles, policies, and concepts. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems. Knowledge of basic principles of the Logistics Management Specialist. Skill in communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing.

DUTIES-7/9
- Develops and maintains the logistics annexes for a wide variety of operational and exercise plans generated locally or at higher headquarters.
- Plans, administers, and monitors manpower authorizations and personnel resource requirements for assigned weapon system.
- Manages the logistics aspects of the mobility program for assigned weapon system and assists with management of overall program.
- Assists maintenance/industrial facilities manager and military construction focal point in management of MXG complex's facilities and in management of the Wing's military construction projects.
- Represents MXG on teams, panels, committees, working groups, or in discussions and meetings.
- Assists with management of the small computer program for the MXG and provides training for Reservists.
