BAE Systems is looking for Deputy Program Manager (DPM). Having just re-won work, the DPM selected will have the stability of a 7-year contract helping shape the operational support in a key mission focused area. Working in concert with the Program Manager, the ideal candidates will have demonstrated program management experience and in-depth knowledge of BAE program policies and procedures (specifically LCM process). The person selected will exercise management and operational control with full authority to plan, execute, monitor, control, and report program status. The DPM is one of the primary POCs for the COTR/CO as well as the principal interface between BAE Systems, subcontractor teammates, and the customer. The person selected should be prepared to provide timely responses to customer requests and inquiries and help manage several sensitive administrative initiatives.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience managing contract performance, adherence to schedules, perform administrative and support tasks including staffing, training, invoicing, and CDRLs. Customer satisfaction is paramount on the Augusta program and the DPM selected will be expected to maintain the high bar we've set for staffing this program with personnel with technical, financial, and operational expertise.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Must have at least five (5) years of prior program management experience with two (2) years of experience managing specific programs of similar scope, and either size or complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) that includes financial or management disciplines.
  • Possess experience managing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and customer goals.
  • With an eye for recognizing potential OCI situations, the ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience developing evaluation methods to proactively assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team performance.
  • Demonstrated experience staffing, managing, and retaining a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities to organizations with dynamic strategic directions
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of creating and managing long term goals
  • Experience working in fast paced environment
  • Ability to initiate and lead a change in support of corporate strategies


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
