- You will be responsible for the performance of telephone and data equipment installation and repair at user sites throughout the Air Station.
- You will Install, repair, maintain, and modify telephone system equipment, including digital Private Branch Exchanges (PBX) and associated telephone line conditioning and terminal devices.
- You will install, maintain, and repair distribution cable systems within buildings from Demarcation point to the terminal equipment.
- You will test and analyze secure telephone and data communication devices and coordinate repair action in system outages.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
