We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesforce Developer to join our team and contribute to the full lifecycle development of applications, primarily leveraging Salesforce Health Cloud. This role involves designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining software solutions that integrate modern technologies such as Python, Java, AWS, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled in both independent and collaborative work within a fast-paced, complex environment.
You'll work closely with the IT Project Manager and other Application Developers to build and evolve systems, applying your expertise in Salesforce development to create innovative solutions. This position also offers the opportunity to lead the transformation of applications into next-generation technologies such as serverless architecture and microservices.
TS/SCI Clearance with full-scope polygraph is required
Responsibilities
- Perform full-lifecycle application development, including designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining applications using various software languages.
- Conduct moderately complex analysis and design to develop new solutions and maintain existing software baselines.
- Support full-stack development of applications integrated with Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-quality screens, write code/scripts, and test applications on the Salesforce platform.
- Lead evolutionary efforts, introducing emerging technologies like Kubernetes and serverless architecture for better scalability and efficiency.
- Coach team members in development best practices while ensuring deliverables meet project timelines.
- Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure ongoing support for developed toolsets.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience with strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
- Skilled as a full-stack developer, capable of integrating backend and frontend systems seamlessly.
- Experience with designing and developing new solutions while maintaining existing software baselines.
- Proficiency in AWS DevOps practices and familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) lifecycle.
- Proficiency with GitHub for source code management.
- Hands-on experience implementing testing platforms, unit tests, and automated pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (mandatory).
- Experience in supporting applications for secure environments, particularly within the Intelligence Community.
Required Education
B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Optional Skills
- Experience with Python and Java for integrations.
- Familiarity with advanced serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of health IT systems and Salesforce Health Cloud-specific features.
- Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Architect.
