Position Summary
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator B to support manufacturing and production operations in North Charleston, SC. This role is responsible for processing, monitoring, and coordinating materials flow to ensure production schedules are met efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory or production support experience and be comfortable working under general supervision in a fast-paced environment.

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator B to support manufacturing and production operations in North Charleston, SC. This role is responsible for processing, monitoring, and coordinating materials flow to ensure production schedules are met efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory or production support experience and be comfortable working under general supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production areas, and other designated locations
- Support the flow of production by following standard work instructions and procedures
- Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and communicate the status of parts and materials
- Utilize automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues of limited scope using established processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to set priorities, expedite materials, and complete production activities
- Support production schedules and help avoid delays
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Typically 1 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- (e.g., vocational school or Associate degree with applicable experience)
- Successful completion of required training (OJT or formal classroom training) is a contingency for this assignment.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to climb stairs occasionally
