Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph within the last 7 years to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage and maintain critical IT system infrastructure.
• Provide comprehensive Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support.
• Configure and maintain UNIX, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues, including Elastic products like Grafana and Kibana.
• Utilize collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.
• Implement security testing protocols and manage data flows efficiently.
• Provision and manage virtual machine resources.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Salary: $188k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Perform comprehensive systems administration for Linux and Windows operating environments.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for critical IT infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot UNIX, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Elastic stack products, including Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Manage data flows using tools such as NiFi.
• Conduct software and system security testing to ensure robust protection.
• Administer and provision virtual machine resources, including Virtual Box environments.
• Document processes and manage tasks effectively using JIRA and Confluence.
• Apply knowledge of network protocols and system security best practices.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Running security scans,
• Linux system administration,
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
• Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
• Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
• Provisioning virtual machine resources
• TPAM for account management
• Planned and unplanned outage coordination
