JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated and driven Sr. Software & Systems Engineer to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.

COMPENSATION
The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company-funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit-sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated and driven Sr. Software & Systems Engineer to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Software/Systems Engineering for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of various programs supporting aircraft and weapons systems.
- Perform the following activities as part of software development: system resource evaluation; software requirements evaluation; design evaluation; software definition, code and unit test; integration test; software delivery and independent test; software quality assurance; and software configuration monitoring.
- Conduct reviews of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, etc.) evaluating supporting work products to Government standards.
- Participate in all software life-cycle reviews from requirements analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, integration, and test.
- Review and comment on proposed system requirements, based on Government provided information.
- Verify the system requirements to meet the stated program objectives.
- Support program reviews and periodic program status meetings.
- Support the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
- Support Statement of Work and CDRL development.
- Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals.
- Make recommendations regarding human systems engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years of experience in Software (Ada, C++) and Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware and software.
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, or systems safety & reliability.
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207.
- Possess contracting knowledge and experience in military aircraft avionic systems and software.
- Possess strong communication, (written/oral), and presentation skills, as well as strong critical thinking and reasoning skills.
