Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to pioneer the development and qualification of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system supporting the System Qualification and Verification Review (SQVR) and Functional Configuration Audit (FCA). This position will be located in Roy, UT.
The selected candidate will support weapon system qualification of the next generation of strategic deterrent for the United States and her allies. SQVR/ FCA Tech Lead will ensure the weapon system meets government requirements for qualification and certification and will be provided opportunities to:

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
- Provide systems engineering expertise to the development, integration, qualification, verification, and testing of a next generation ICBM weapon system
- Participate in technical planning, system integration, cost, risk, supportability, and analysis for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. The candidate ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

- Assistance in planning and scheduling activities

- Understand and apply system requirements
- Simulate and evaluate hardware performance
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience; or Master's degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 8 years of experience .
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 2 years of experience working with Systems Engineering and Integration and Test processes on the Sentinel Program with emphasis on interfaces. Must have solid understanding of these processes.
- 1 years of experience with Agile, JIRA, Confluence, DOORS or Cameo.
- 1 years of experience supporting trade studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with analyses, test, verification of requirements
- Experience with any of the following tools and languages: DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter, GIT, JAZZ, NX, Capitol
- Prior experience and working knowledge of the Sentinel program
