Description
Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated SEIT Systems Engineering Manager to lead the SV Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) organization for the Space Development Agency Portfolio within the Tracking, Transport and Warning (TT&W) Mission Segment of the National Security Space (NSS) Line of Business (LOB).
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Space Vehicle System Engineering (SVSE), inclusive of SV Responsible Systems Engineers (RSEs), Systems Integration & Test, Space Vehicle Integration & Test, Specialty Engineering, trade studies, risk & opportunity management, design review execution associated CAM support, and personnel responsibilities. This position requires a high level of technical and business acumen to balance priorities, drive issue prevention/resolution, and clearly communicate status and needs to our customers/partners, and with both Lockheed Martin and supplier executives.
This position is expected to require domestic travel less than 15%.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in an Engineering or closely related field
• Systems Engineering process experience across the complete program lifecycle
• Proven application of systems engineering functions including the following:
a) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b) Requirements and Verification
c) Major program reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, CIR, TRR, MSCSR, and PSR
• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., GN&C, Payloads, Propulsion, Software, Mechanical, etc.)
• Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management experience
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles and processes
• Demonstrated experience leading, supporting and motivating employees
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers
• Ability to brief audiences (large and small) of varying technical knowledge and demonstrated experience leading a team and/or coordinating complex activities
• Positive attitude, accountable, and responsible with ability to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment
• Space/satellite program systems engineering and integration experience (minimum 5 years)
• Space or missile design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
• Masters Degree in an engineering related field
• Experience on SDA Programs
• Working knowledge of Cameo
• Experience managing requirements and verification for large complex systems
• Proven business acumen with experiences: utilizing earned value management as Control Account Manager (CAM), managing headcount, developing schedules, generating Basis-Of-Estimates (BOEs), and supporting proposal development activities.
• Current Secret or TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
