You will be the Harness Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge aircraft harness and interconnect solutions.

As the Harness Design Engineer you will be responsible for applying deep technical expertise to solve complex wiring and power-distribution challenges while partnering closely with systems, mechanical, structural, and integration teams.

You are a results-driven electrical design professional with proven experience in aircraft harness development. You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and excel at translating complex requirements into practical, compliant designs. Your background includes supplier management, change-control processes, and hands-on troubleshooting with manufacturing. As a U.S. citizen, you understand the importance of security and integrity in mission-critical programs.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams
- Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
- Ability to obtain and maintain Active Top Secret Clearance per business requirements
Desired Skills:
- Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
- Hands on experience with aircraft modifications
- Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes
- Experience with aircraft harness, wiring or cable design/schematics
- Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:
- Produce electrical wiring schematic drawings and design intricate power-distribution systems.
- Translate electrical specifications into clear routing diagrams, cable layouts, and detailed installation procedures, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive wiring-harness documentation, support prototype builds, troubleshoot integration issues, and manage change requests.
- Develop supplier statements of work and oversee system check-outs to ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements.
- Work directly with manufacturing during build-up to diagnose and resolve system problems.
