Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer for our Huntsville office location. This position is a mid-level position in which the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and enhancing aircraft modifications for commercial and military organizations. This position requires someone interested and well-versed in avionics and electrical systems for various aircraft.
Responsibilities
• Will work with a team of Electrical and Design Engineers and PMs to troubleshoot, design, and implement electrical systems supporting various military and commercial customers.
• Provide offsite & onsite assistance and installation of electrical systems
• Mentor junior level electrical engineers within the company
• Occasionally travel to hangars, bases, customer sites to facilitate successful system integration of mechanical and electrical and provide assistance as needed to Project Managers at onsite locations
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in avionics and electrical wiring systems
• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Ability to effectively manage time over several programs
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently with remotely located employees as well as in a team environment
• Flexibility to travel CONUS & OCONUS (no more than 20% of the time)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Must be IPC-620 certified
• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must currently possess an active Department of Defense clearance (Secret or Top Secret level)
Preferred Qualifications
• Interest in aviation airframe modifications is recommended
• A&P certification or relevant certifications are a plus
• DoD or Military background is a plus
