BAE Systems in Merrimack, NH is looking for an NDI Inspector who will will work collectively with a Program Lead/Responsible Level III Ultrasonic NDT resource. This position will support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, F22, along with a variety of other products and programs. The position will focus specifically on Ultrasonic non-destructive inspection (NDI) utilizing measurement equipment to control standards, engineering evaluation, and inspection. Must be willing to continue NDI certification process beyond current level in accordance with NAS410 and company requirements.
The NDI Inspector will:
In addition, the position Inspects machined or partially machined parts, using CMM or other predetermined methods and sequences to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications and quality requirement. Uses various measuring devices and testing equipment. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May determine method and sequences necessary to perform inspections.

Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The NDI Inspector will:
- Assist in preparing the documentation on procedures for setting up and using test equipment.
- Prepare, review, and update process sheets, analyze routine tests, evaluate inspection or statistical data to determine product and process conformity.
- Report potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
- Assist with standard root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) activities and providing recommendations.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, programs, and suppliers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of related work experience
- Willing to learn or refresh math skills: Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 5+ years of experience
- NDI experience is strongly preferred
- NDI Certification
- Certified as a Level 1 ultrasonic testing in accordance with NAS-410.
- Familiarity with AS9100, and Nadcap audit requirements for NDT special processes
- Experience with aerospace composite materials and ultrasonic inspection is highly preferred.
- CMM Experience
- IPC-610 and IPC-620
