MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CMSgt (E-9)
Minimum Military Grade - SMSgt (E-8)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must possess experience or training that has provided you with the knowledge and application of mechanical and electrical principles and the skill to perform intricate repair and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic components and devices.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must possess specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to plan and organize work assignments for an ordnance equipment repair function; review work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines; deal effectively with other people; supervise through subordinate supervisors, or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate, skill at applying human relations techniques, a knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and a knowledge of shop processes; and adapt existing equipment and techniques to new situations?
Possession (or previous possession) of AFSC 2W091 is optimum.

- Plans the overall allocation of personnel, funding, facilities, and equipment resources to the organizational segments supervised to accomplish work operations.
- Oversees munitions system modifications.
- Analyzes work plans developed by subordinate workforce for accomplishment of assigned directives.
- Determines status of work accomplished in relation to future demands, including unanticipated or emergency requirements mandating reallocation of resources.
- Provides status of work projects, budget estimates, changes in equipment, facilities and techniques for mission planning purposes.
- Evaluates potential impact of improved technologies on existing programs and practices and recommends proposed changes to appropriate authority.
- Functions as an integral member of unit's planning process and serves as the responsible technical resource for a maintenance division.
- Coordinates and directs the work of munitions sections supervised.
- Assigns and explains work requirements to the workforce, and set deadlines.
- Balances workload for subordinate work sections.
- Promotes economical and efficient work operations.
- Prepares and provides inputs to operating instructions and initiates work plans to be followed by subordinate sections in accomplishing critical or emergency work projects.
- Recommends promotion or reassignment of the workforce, and reviews personnel actions.
- Chairs production meetings to set priorities in accomplishing the scheduled maintenance plan.
- Ensures subordinate supervisors carry out such programs as labor management and equal opportunity.
- Ensures appropriate production reports and administrative records are maintained.
- Implements regulatory safety and security requirements ensuring subordinates are provided and utilize appropriate safety equipment, follow safety precautions, and are afforded a safe work environment.

- This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in the Missouri National Guard prior to the effective date of placement.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
