Job Summary
The Facility Management Support professional will assist with the full spectrum of facility and building management responsibilities at Robins Air Force Base. The facility manager will be responsible for asset management, daily facility inspections, and the identification and resolution of all facility-related issues. This role involves analyzing internal space reorganizations, interfacing with customers and government officials, and performing a wide range of tasks to ensure the facility is well-maintained, secure, and operating efficiently. The facility manager is expected to adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in Robins Air Force Base Instruction (RAFBI) 32-9008.

Key Responsibilities
General Facility and Asset Management
- Manage assets, including all furniture, equipment, and accessories assigned to the facilities.
- Assist the Government Real Property Building Manager (RPBM) with daily inspections of facilities.
- Analyze and advise on internal space reorganizations, including space assignment plans.
- Interface and communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and other Government officials.
- Prioritize tasks according to priorities established by the Government RPBM or other responsible personnel.
- Proven experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to adhere to Robins Air Force Base Instruction (RAFBI) 32-9008.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with government personnel, contractors, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve facility-related issues efficiently.
- Experience with budget tracking and project coordination is highly desirable.
Maintenance and Work Requests
- Perform minor repairs, improvements, and maintenance as outlined in RAFBI 32-9008, Chapter 3.
- Utilize the Self-Help Program for project approval when Civil Engineering (CE) cannot meet requested time frames.
- Prepare, submit, track, and prioritize all work requests with CE in accordance with RAFBI 32-9008, Chapter 13.
- Investigate facility maintenance issues and notify CE of emergency and routine requests, tracking all requests to completion.
- Place emergency calls immediately upon notification or identification and address safety-related work requests within two hours.
- Maintain the grounds extending up to 50 feet from the facility, ensuring the area is clean and safe.
Facility Planning and Project Support
- Assist in developing and tracking facility and furniture maintenance budgets and expenditures.
- Support the planning of facility-related projects by gathering data, identifying alternative solutions, and preparing required documentation.
- Oversee office furniture installations, relocations, and reconfigurations.
- Submit and follow up on requests for moving and transporting items within the facility.
- Contribute to the development of a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) by providing facilities information.
Supplies, Equipment, and Environmental
- Assist with the inventory and distribution of supplies and equipment from various vendors and agencies.
- Maintain a current document library for warranties, instructions, and specifications.
- Monitor and promote the conservation of electricity, natural gas, water, and other utilities.
- Ensure the facility maintains adequate environmental protection and compliance in accordance with RAFBI 32-9008, Chapter 12.
Building Security
- Assist in establishing and maintaining building security procedures for key control and issuance.
- Maintain accountability of all basic keys for the assigned facility.
- Ensure the duplication of keys is done with the proper authorization from the Government Facility Manager.

Required Experience
Required Experience:
- HSD/GED, ten (10) years of experience in the respective profession being performed, five (5) of which must be in DoD.
- U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams), & Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of TRIRIGA
- Prior USAF Civil Engineering experience
