Description
The National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division of the Leidos Fed Civ IT Business Area currently has an opening for a Release Train Engineer. This position will be part of a dynamic team working to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City at their Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center location.

This position will be part of a dynamic team working to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City at their Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center location.
RTE Responsibilities
- Facilitate & organize pivotal SAFe ceremonies—ranging from Program Increment Planning (PIP) to ART Syncs and Adapt workshops—ensuring each gathering is purposeful, fluid, and outcome-driven.
- Sustains cohesion across teams, aligning momentum so that parallel efforts converge rather than collide.
- Maintains a broad view of progress, weaving together insights from multiple teams to reveal the broader delivery landscape.
- Anticipates and mitigates risks and removes bottlenecks that affect multiple teams, and navigates interdependencies with precision, safeguarding the steady flow of business value.
- Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Management, and delivery teams, instilling refined Agile and SAFe practices through guidance that is both strategic and practical.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, System Architects, and Product Management, ensuring that features are not merely initiated but brought to full fruition.
- Ensure transparency on progress and issues.
- Lead program-level retrospectives that go beyond routine reflection, transforming insights into actionable evolution.
- Helps implement improvements across the ART.
- Catalyzes ART-wide enhancements, embedding meaningful improvements that ripple across the entire release train.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 8 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience with Masters Degree.
- 5+ years in Agile, with 2+ years specifically as an RTE or program-level leader.
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust Suitability and Secret Level clearance.
