Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer orientated Construction Surveillance Technician to join our team. This position will be remote with up to 80% travel.
Role Summary: Provides technical oversight and inspection to ensure no technical surveillance vulnerabilities are introduced into the TS/SCI facility during construction.

Role Summary: Provides technical oversight and inspection to ensure no technical surveillance vulnerabilities are introduced into the TS/SCI facility during construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs continuous, documented inspections of all concealed spaces in the 2-story building to ensure compliance with ICD 705 anti-tamper standards.
- Vets all materials used in the SCIF boundary for TEMPEST compliance, specifically checking for illicit modifications to power and data distribution.
- Inspects the installation of 24-strand fiber and IPS containers to ensure they are physically secured according to protected distribution standards.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and manage projects in diverse global locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Certified Construction Manager (CRM) or a relevant professional certification may be substituted for a degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience or a similar role in commercial or government construction.
- Proven, hands-on experience managing and successfully completing projects for cleared government or defense facilities.
- Demonstrable experience in SCIF construction and renovation, with a deep understanding of security accreditation processes.
- Experience with the installation and oversight of network technology and telecommunications infrastructure in a new construction environment.
- Dual-Jurisdiction Building Code Mastery: Expert knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and major US state/federal regulations, combined with expert knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096).
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications, including those related to secure facility design and network layouts.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

- Must have a current/active TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain construction security oversight in outdoor environment; walk (with personal protective equipment) to inspect and document delivery of components and assembly/construction of structure.
