Position Overview
Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking a Systems Integrator to support the integration, operation, and sustainment of complex technical systems across communications, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise environments. This role is responsible for ensuring interoperability across hardware, software, and network components while maintaining system stability, security, and performance.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in integrating COTS and custom solutions, supporting cloud-based tools, communications platforms, and mobile technologies. This position requires close coordination with Sponsor personnel, contractors, and vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable capabilities aligned with mission requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Integrate and manage complex systems environments, ensuring interoperability across communications, beaconing, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Support configuration, deployment, and sustainment of infrastructure including mobile devices, network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches), and cloud-based systems.
• Administer communications and beaconing solutions, including tracking hardware, software, and applications.
• Manage and maintain system uptime, reliability, and performance across WAN/LAN and enterprise environments.
• Support system security, including encryption technologies, VPNs, and compliance with A&A, data retention, and regulatory policies.
• Collaborate with Sponsor staff, contractors, and vendors to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support program priorities.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements, new technologies, and process improvements to improve efficiency, security, and performance.
• Support engineering and integration efforts across COTS and custom solutions, ensuring alignment with mission needs
Required Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience integrating systems and managing complex technical environments.
• Experience administering communications and beaconing solutions.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and using Microsoft cloud tools (Office 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, Teams).
• Experience with system assessment and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
• Experience handling sensitive data with discretion and sound judgment.
• Experience customizing, deploying, and maintaining Android cellular devices and managing laptops and tablets.
• Experience using beaconing and tracking hardware, software, scripts, and code.
• Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, WAN/LAN systems).
• Experience using encryption technologies and VPN applications.
• Experience gathering and vetting technical requirements and identifying system constraints.
• Experience providing technical leadership and cross-functional support.
• Experience implementing and modifying regulatory and data retention policies.
• Experience using communication tools including push-to-talk technologies and map imagery applications.
Desired Skills
• Experience administering complex unclassified systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of personnel.
