Northrop Grumman Space is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Commerce, CA.
This position is for 1st shift ( 5:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Primary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Space is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Commerce, CA.
This position is for 1st shift ( 5:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment by testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing.
- Conduct work within multiple maintenance trades including millwright, electrician, plumber, and carpenter.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Provide preventative and correct maintenance on various complex CNCs: 3 and 5-axis milling, horizontal and vertical lathes
- Adhere to all OSHA regulatory and safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts usage
- Forklift, scissor lift, and JLG operations
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen with High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial maintenance technician or millwright required
- Must have general knowledge of CNC machinery maintenance and repairs
- Solid understanding vacuum, electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and pressure systems
- A systematic problem-solver that collaborates with internal and external customers
- Proficiency with standard maintenance processes and methods
- Familiarity with PLC's/HMI's
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible shift to include overtime hours
- Must be able to lift over 50lbs., climb ladders, operate a forklift, and work at height
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years' experience working as an industrial maintenance technician
- An associate's degree, licensed Journeyman or master tradesman, or journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program
- Proficient and knowledgeable in 3-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems including 24 VDC to 480 VAC systems
- Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems
- Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
- Experience with building maintenance management systems (CMMS/CAFM), including L2L and work order tracking
