Job Description
Our customer is looking for a RF Engineer to support our Navy led team developing EW systems mainly for the USMC. This position will be on-site at Pt Mugu California. Team consists of lead Navy engineers and other contractors outside of NGC. This RF Engineering position would support more senior Navy RF engineers with the development of EW systems. System development would primarily focus on RF hardware design, prototyping and testing, with integration of software.

• Follow supplied USMC operational scenarios, requirements, and architecture framework (DoDAF) for system development.
• Assist the senior systems engineer with the generation and documentation of a new system’s architecture and design (power, RF, and functional block diagrams).
• Review system thermal, safety, and reliability analyses.
• Assist the senior system engineers with new system design features to enhance USMC supportability and maintainability of the system.
• Research and make recommendations on COTS components for system development based on system performance requirements, size, weight, and power constraints, etc.
• Support system prototyping at the bench level, in order to technically evaluate potential COTS components for possible use in new systems and to then evaluate subsequent system design performance.
