Description:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Program Quality Engineering Manager to lead and manage the quality engineering efforts for the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) program.
What You Will Be Doing
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
This role requires a deep understanding of quality engineering principles, program management, and the THAAD system.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the quality engineering team responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures.
-Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and processes to ensure the successful execution of the THAAD program.
-Manage and track quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve quality performance.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the program.
-Manage the Team performing quality audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
-Identify and mitigate risks to quality and ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
-Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, issues, and recommendations.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality engineering.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing quality engineering teams.
Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams such as customers and/or suppliers.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Prior Management Experience leading complex teams.
This position will require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the United States.
Desired Skills:
A Master's degree is preferred.
Strong understanding of the THAAD unique requirements; i.e. MAP, RAM, PMP.
Ability to navigate the challenges between multiple MFC sites, suppliers and within the IWTA efforts between non MFC sites.
Prior THAAD program experience and THAAD customer experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
