Description:What You Will Be Doing

As the Engineering Aide you will be responsible for providing technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks, ensuring data integrity and producing clear engineering documentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Perform detailed mathematical calculations and preliminary data analyses using established formulas.

- Gather, maintain, format, and compile technical data, including test results and design changes.

- Produce engineering documentation such as reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.

- Utilize personal computers to develop analyses, documentation, and reports.

- Conduct tests, record data, and assist with engineering evaluations as needed.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Ability to assign, develop, and integrate new features and capabilities into customer-facing software tools.
-Strong background in object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies.
-Experience conducting unit-level testing to verify correctness and quality of code.
-Proficiency in writing and debugging code under the guidance of Scrum Masters and technical leads within an Agile environment.
Desired Skills:
-Experience researching and extending plugin frameworks (e.g., Android Team Awareness Kit) to create XML converters that enable interoperability between disparate message formats and integrate platforms such as ATAK with aerospace simulation tools.
-Proven ability to design and implement container registries or similar infrastructure that significantly reduce project startup times and improve developer productivity.
-Hands-on experience evaluating and integrating AI/ML models for automating source-code documentation or other software-engineering workflows.
-Knowledge of cyber-security best practices, including implementation of organization-wide vulnerability-scanning pipelines and effective remediation processes.
-Expertise building comprehensive test-bench environments for simulated aircraft subsystems, encompassing DIS simulation services, mission-computer services, tactical display web applications, and adapters (e.g., FlightGear) for real-time visualization.
-Strong problem-solving skills applied to complex, cross-domain integrations spanning mobile, cloud, AI, and defense simulation ecosystems.
-Ability to work autonomously on research-driven projects while delivering production-ready solutions aligned with mission-critical timelines.
-Familiarity with supporting final system integration and test activities, including the preparation of delivery-ready documentation for assembly.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
