This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP), a Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our MDA Customer! Are you an enthusiastic individual with a strong technical background that can thrive in an exciting fast-paced dynamic environment?
As Electrical Engineer Sr. on the TCP Engineering team your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, developing, documenting, and testing electronics systems and interfaces
• Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
• Performing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes to measure and analyze RF data
• Assisting in developing and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other components
• Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. This will include supporting major program milestone events.
Selected candidate must have an active SECRET security clearance for consideration.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of related experience working on electrical/electronic development projects
• Ability to interact with peer-developers to facilitate interoperability with other subsystems
• Knowledge of avionics system development techniques and practices, including interface with RF-sensitive components
• Experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Vector Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft software products including Visio
• Active Secret Clearance required.
Desired Skills:
An advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is desired.
Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards.
Experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
Experience with RF Sensor or Active Module/Subsystems development.
Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.
Experience with guidance & navigation components and subsystems
Experience with thermal or lithium polymer batteries, especially for launch or space environments
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
