Description:The Sustainment Employees Advanced Development Program is a three-year rotational program designed for high potential candidates who aspire to take on future Sustainment related leadership positions. SEAD will consist of 3 one-year rotations in RMS Global Sustainment disciplines such as Sustainment Operations, Information Systems & Innovation, Supply Chain Management & Depot Operations, Field Sustainment, Courseware & Training and Technical Publications. Participants will also gain exposure to Program Integration skillsets, including Project Management, Proposal Management, Customer Interface, Earned Value, Subcontract Managements and Quality. A cross functional business capstone project will be completed by the 3rd year. Participants will also have tremendous opportunities for team leadership training, networking, mentorship, and volunteering. Upon completion, participants will have gained a broad Sustainment knowledge base and will then be encouraged to pursue a career path within one of the Sustainment disciplines.
Candidates will be considered for all hiring SEAD locations to include but not limited to the following RMS locations, with relocating between sites during the three-year program:
• Syracuse, NY
• Trumbull, CT
• Orlando, FL
• Ventura, CA
• Moorestown, NJ
• Fort Worth, TX
• Eglin AFB, FL
• Luke AFB, AZ
• Little Rock AFB, AR
• Hurlburt Field AFB, FL
** The ideal candidate is highly motivated to build a career path that leads to leadership responsibilities within the Sustainment domain. Candidate must be willing to relocate to any of these locations, or other LM sites, while on program. Candidate must be willing to accommodate flexible work shifts depending on business needs. Candidate must commit to the entirety of the three-year program. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related engineering or business discipline with a strong interest in sustainment, operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, logistics and transportation, business management, general management, data analytics, logistics, sustainability and sustainment, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, logistics engineering, or engineering management
- Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Basic understanding of Logistics and Sustainment
- Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills
- Direct involvement in process improvement initiatives
- Course work in Systems engineering, project engineering, supply chain and logistics, business management and data analytics, operations management, logistics management, project and program management and Supply Chain Management
- Related work experience (co-op, internship or part/full-time employment)
- Must be a US Citizen. This position will require government security clearance
