You will be the Sr. Project Engineer for Advanced Development Programs (ADP). Our team is responsible for coordinating across engineering teams ensuring that program requirements are met and providing project development and process improvements across ADP projects.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr. Project Engineer you will be responsible for communicating project's progress across various teams and acting as the focal interface between program managers, team leads, engineering subject matter experts, suppliers, and program partners on respective contracts within the portfolio of programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting proposals and business capture for Advanced Development Programs (ADP)
• Understanding program's technical information and contractual scope(s)
• Creating, coordinating, and implementing project plans
• Providing inputs to strategies; resolving issues; integrating with leads and external partners
• Learning / Providing inputs for continuous improvements, technical solutions, change management, and risk assessments

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher with experience in Engineering, or a related STEM field or equivalent experience/combined with education with 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in Project Planning
• Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams
• Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• SECRET security clearance
**Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.**
Desired Skills:
• Earned Value Management Experience
• Experience working/knowledge of proposals, contracts and/or process development
• Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of / Experience with engineering design and /or tools such as Catia v5 (or other equivalent CAD systems with ability to learn), Teamcenter/JIRA or other tracking tools
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required
Typically has 5 - 9 years of professional experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
