Solidus is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer for supporting the development and supporting the life-cycle of the LTAMDS radar. This is an onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA with a 9/80 schedule.

Solidus is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer for supporting the development and supporting the life-cycle of the LTAMDS radar. This is an onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA with a 9/80 schedule.
Day in the Life:
- Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging
- Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- United States Citizen
- Secret Clearance
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation
- 10 years of prior engineering experience
- Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
- Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB
- Experience in developing and managing requirements
- Experience with C++, Python, or similar
- Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification
- Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
