• Sets priorities and establishes schedules for work completion.
• Provides insight and guidance on leadership decisions, Defense Planning Guidance and the National Military Strategy.
• Conceives, articulates, and oversees analytical studies relating to issues involving program alternatives that will be used by the leadership in setting the future course of the Command.
• Maintains liaison with Joint Staff, Secretariat level, other U.S. Cyber Command staff elements.
• Provides insight and guidance on leadership decisions, Defense Planning Guidance and the National Military Strategy.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
• A one-year supervisory probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
• The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
• This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Employee must pass screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodic drug screening thereafter.
• The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.
• The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy5-1.
• May be required to work overtime and other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Specialized experience would be demonstrated by prioritizing and establishing schedules for completion of work; planning and developing analyses, briefings, and coordinating internal/external review of programs and budgets; maintaining relationships with other organizations, staff elements, and commands to ensure adequate support; and utilizing Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) systems to meet operational requirements.
