The Visitor Control/PIV Enrollment Specialist supports the Protective Service Office by providing support services, to include temporary and visitor badging as well as permanent badging and access control.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for verifying the validity of credentials and validating visitor requests.
  • Enrolling and processing employees for permanent badges through IdMAX.
  • Running National Crime Information Center (NCIC) reports.
  • Entering visitor requests into the Enterprise Visitor Management System (EVAMS) and processing all forms of GRC visitor passes.
  • Contacting the visitor sponsors per procedure.
  • Verifying the eligibility of an employee to serve as an escort to a Foreign National (FN).
  • Issuing daily passes to employees that lost or forgot their badge.
  • Tracking Real-ID and daily pass activity.
  • Assist with auditing and reconciling of identities affiliated with GRC.
  • Assist with data input for the NASA Identity management system and other security management databases.
  • Support the GRC OPS/Center Chief of Protective Services management office with security actions in personnel processing, administering the "DO NOT ADMIT" process, and updating the Lenel OnGuard security system.
  • Perimeter and installation security and access.
  • Provide badging office support by scheduling badging appointments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of security, administrative, secretarial and/or badging experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance (interim clearence required prior to start).

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $22.50/Hr.
