Job Description

We are headquartered in Chesapeake, VA with employees located near each of the Navy Fleet Centers within the continental United States (San Diego, Jacksonville, Seattle, New England, Norfolk) as well as Hawaii and Japan.

Position Description: MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join its team. In this role, the Power Platform Developer is responsible for the creation and sustainment of Power Platform solutions, applications, and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions
  • Build custom applications using Power Apps
  • Create business support and date-driven workflows using Power Automate
  • Build custom connectors with Power Apps Component Framework
  • Build user-facing dashboards and data visualization solutions with Power BI
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure, etc. where applicable
  • Manage the onboarding of new users of Power Platform solutions
  • Provide documentation for all processes and training as needed
  • Develop and implement sustainment procedures, monitor performance, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors
  • Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of applications to meet the business and user needs
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and security


Requirements:

  • Must have a Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience designing Power Platform solutions
  • PL-400 Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate preferred
  • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
  • Experience in Lifecycle Management processes
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
