Position Title: Sustainment Engineer
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time
Description of Duties:
The Sustainment Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
The successful candidate will:
• Be highly self-motivated
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Have an acute attention to detail
• Be able to be flexible in a high-speed environment.

Qualifications - External
Basic Requirements:
• Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
o May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience in Systems, Applications, and/or Network engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Must have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role
• Must be certified at the IAT-II (IAW DoDD 8570.01).
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
• Have experience with systems, applications, and network engineering best practices
• Have knowledge of BMC Remedy or BMC Helix Remedy
• Have knowledge of Solar Winds
• Have extensive knowledge in some of these technologies:
o Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems
o Active Directory
o Database Servers
o Virtual Machines and Hypervisors
o Cloud services and engineering
o Storage and Backup solutions
o Load Balancers
o Disaster Recovery
o Cybersecurity
o Systems, Applications, and Network monitoring
This position is expected to pay $130,000 – $140,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
