Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed-Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine mobile patrols and perimeter checks, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, watching for unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing traffic flow according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with site leadership, and contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol findings in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
• Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
