Salesforce Mobile Developer

Blu Omega is looking for a Salesforce Mobile Developer to join a critical modernization effort supporting the Military Working Dog System (MWDS), a mission-essential platform. As a Salesforce Mobile Developer, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative mobile solutions that enhance operational workflows, enable offline data capture, and deliver impactful dashboards for military leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-stakes defense program, shaping the future of military animal management and operational readiness through cutting-edge mobile and Salesforce development.

Location
Hybrid work environment with occasional travel to the Pentagon or program sites.

Clearance Needed
Active Secret clearance is required. Candidates with previous Top Secret clearance may be considered for expedited reactivation. Security paperwork (SF forms) must be completed prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the mobile development efforts within the Salesforce platform, focusing on optimizing usability and performance for operational users.
• Evaluate and implement Salesforce Mobile SDK solutions to enable mobile workflows and offline data capture capabilities.
• Design, develop, and refine offline data workflows using technologies such as Salesforce Mobile SDK and local device storage mechanisms.
• Create and customize executive dashboards to visualize health, readiness, and veterinary data, supporting senior leadership decision-making.
• Support platform standardization, refactor existing Salesforce components, and enhance integration and data quality.
• Ensure system stability during program expansion, providing ongoing development support and implementing future enhancements like advanced mobile features, dashboards, onboarding modules, and scheduling workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing and developing mobile applications within the Salesforce Lightning environment.
• Strong expertise with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience evaluating and implementing Salesforce Mobile SDK solutions for offline functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to develop responsive, user-friendly mobile interfaces optimized for phones and tablets.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices for executive dashboards.
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform customization, integration, and data management best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small, expanding team in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Secret clearance; candidates with reactivation potential for Top Secret are welcome.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with native mobile app development using Xcode or Android Studio.
• Knowledge of local device storage options such as SQLite or mobile soups.
• Prior exposure to defense or military systems, especially in operational environment support.
• Comfort with additional security protocols or certifications relevant to DoD projects.

Salary Range: $125K - $160K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
