WHO YOU ARE:
HumanIT is seeking an Oracle ERP Specialist SME with a deep understanding of enterprise IT operations, sustainment activities, and Agile practices. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, confident communicator, and skilled technologist capable of supporting the full SDLC for multiple Enterprise Business Systems. This individual must be comfortable engaging with leadership at all levels and translating highly technical concepts for diverse audiences. Knowledge across Infrastructure, Software Development & Deployment, Configuration/Change Management, Cloud Technologies, and Enterprise IT is required.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Clearance Level: Secret at minimum
• Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, or related field-or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work onsite daily in Dayton, OH
• Provide SME-level expertise on operational interfaces, protocols, services, infrastructure, and associated COTS/OSS products; support technical exchanges with interface providers and integration partners.
• Assist in tracking and monitoring Program Capabilities and Systems operational environment topology, including updates to a centralized requirements/baseline tracking system.
• Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze technical details to identify and mitigate risks, develop cost estimates, define courses of action, and make recommendations for resolving technical issues.
• Advanced ability to multitask and analyze large, complex data elements to diagnose and resolve issues experienced by IT systems.
• 5+ years of experience assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.
• Provide Engineering and Software SME expertise in technologies such as Cloud Technologies, Oracle Financials, DevSecOps products, and operational processes required to sustain an Enterprise IT system.
• Assist with operational monitoring and reporting for multiple IT systems, including gathering information on major events, system outages/reduced functionality, and mission-impacting problems.
• Support technologies across the full lifecycle of Enterprise systems; evaluate new technologies and identify/track software roadmaps including migrations to SaaS.
• Recognize opportunities for process improvement, capability enhancement, or improved mission system performance.
• Clear understanding of methods to decompose and define capabilities into requirements usable by software developers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years supporting technology and business operations for an Air Force or DoD system.
• 5+ years managing remotely distributed, highly technical IT teams.
• 5+ years of project management experience using SCRUM, SAFe, or other Agile methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related automation/test tools.
• Knowledge of OMB, Congressional, and agency financial management objectives, budget regulations, precedents, and guidelines.
• Understanding of Congressional, agency, and OMB budget processes, procedures, and briefing requirements.
• Experience with technologies including Oracle, AWS, Microsoft cloud offerings, Oracle E‑Business Suite with Government Financials, database technologies, and data warehouse products.
• Working knowledge of DoD 5000, NIST 800‑53, and NIST 800‑171 requirements as applied to Air Force Business Enterprise Systems.
