OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer that has expertise in network design, architecture, and operations to work as part of a collaborative, multi-discipline team in support of the US Government providing expertise in the field of network engineering. This is a full-time position located onsite with our customer near Quantico, VA. Remote work is unavailable at this time.

GENERAL DUTIES:
- Designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
- Conveying technical designs, ideas and results to non-technical audiences and providing briefings to government personnel at all levels
- Working with a great team and customer supporting a rewarding mission!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or 8 years of relevant practical experience)
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning
- Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking
- Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking
- Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting
- Must have strong cybersecurity hardening experience in a federal setting
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups
- Knowledge of TACLANE a strong plus
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An ability to navigate and configure Linux operating system
- An understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics
- Experience with Cisco equipment and the implementation of STIGS, ACL's, VPN's, OSPF, VRF, Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls, WLC's, Wireless AP's
- Experience with TACLANES, Cisco ISE, DNA Center, RSA SecurID
- Cloud experience with AWS
- Certifications: CCIE and MCSE

- Top Secret clearance minimum with eligibility to gain a CI Polygraph
