Volt is immediately hiring for Radar System Engineer - TEWKSBURY, MA
Looking for a Senior Systems Engineer for supporting the development and supporting the life cycle of the radar Project.
What you will do
Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
This is 12 months Full- time- contract with possible hire opportunity.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems testing
Experience developing scripts and functions using MATLAB
Experience in developing and managing system requirements
Proficiency in C++, Python, or similar programming languages
Experience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, and technical reports
Experience working in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments supporting system integration and verification
Experience evaluating systems within simulated environments
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
Pay Range: $70.00 - $ 80.00 per hour.
