Job Description:
The Systems Engineer has primary responsibility for the development and management of system/subsystem requirements, conduct of trade space analyses, and development of contract deliverables. A solid knowledge of Munitions technologies (e.g., navigation/GPS, datalinks) and test methods across Live, Virtual, and Constructive domains is required.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
Requirements development and test experience with missile systems
Experience developing integrated solutions intended for classified operation within secure compartmentalized areas.
DAU systems engineering certification desired
Required Skills:
Must be willing to positively participate and contribute to a team environment, possess self-motivation skills, be dependable and trustworthy.
Must be able to problem-solve, communicate effectively and possess proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings.
Participate in developing project plans, analytical methods, and writing test reports; assist with creating, maintaining, and revising product project plans and effectively communicate project deadlines.
Clearance Level: Active Secret (minimum)
Primary Location: Eglin AFB, FL (preferred), or Huntsville, AL
