We are looking for a dynamic Web Developer who will provide web application development and maintenance in support of mission critical law enforcement websites and applications. These websites provide secure access to application information, policy and programmatic guidance, and training materials. Your efforts will help ensure the reliability and effectiveness of applications that are essential to safeguarding the public, supporting investigations, and advancing the customer’s mission. You will be part of an agile, collaborative, customer-facing environment where teamwork, communication, and adaptability are essential.
This role is a temporary, 12-week assignment with the potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide support and maintenance for an existing website using ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and Blazor Framework
• Collaborate with the Government on design and implementation requirements and support of the secure web application
• Produce technical assessments of the website to include areas of security, coding/ scripting languages used in the site, any tables, queries, and data input/export
• Collect and organize metrics and audit related data submitted by users
• Maintain a secure connection/interoperability with all web applications
• Manage, update, develop, and upgrade, as needed, the site’s internal Content Management System
• Ensure state-of-the art security for the entire site (utilize TLS certificates, phishing resistant MFA, etc.)
• Maintain third-party Learning Management System (LMS)
Requirements
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Ability and willingness to work on-site work at Quantico-area facilities, Monday–Friday
• At least 4+ years software development experience, preferably with ASP.NET and C#
• Experience developing web-based applications, including use of HTML and CSS
• Experience working with an agile team using SCRUM, XP, Kanban, or other Lean development approaches
• Experience supporting website management workflow: Development, Stage/Test, and Production
• Experience scanning web code and site for security, malware, and vulnerabilities and maintaining currency of scanning software
• Able to work across services, able to identify potential challenges, design and communicate solutions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting ability
Desired Skills
• Experience developing with component-based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or React
• Experience working with AWS or Azure services and cloud technologies
• Experience interacting and collaborating with software development teams
• Desire to work in a collaborative and team-focused environment
