Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Task Lead/ System Engineer to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer.
The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:
Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errors Implement platforms that orchestrate work-flows for end-to-end task execution Utilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience

Certification Requirement : CISCO CCNP certified

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in System Engineering specifically including:
- Analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environments
- Professional-level skills focused on the data center solutions, technologies and best practices to design, implement, and manage a modern data center infrastructure.
- 10 years' experience testing large scale Windows/Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience performing a variety of engineering and operational related assignments associated with Storage operations, and virtualization software (VMware's vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V0 on a set of enterprise-level IT systems.
- 10 years' experience writing scripts with a scripting language
- Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
- Experienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
