Torch Technologies is seeking an Acquisition Security Support Specialist (PERSEC) to support our Air Vehicle team within the System Program Office (SPO).
As an Acquisition Security Support Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Torch Technologies is seeking an Acquisition Security Support Specialist (PERSEC) to support our Air Vehicle team within the System Program Office (SPO).
As an Acquisition Security Support Specialist, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Apply knowledge and experience to support the execution of all aspects of acquisition program security throughout a program's life cycle, IAW all applicable Government directives relating to SAPs, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral security requirements.
- Provide daily assistance to the SAP Security Managers, to ensure the core security disciplines of Information, Personnel, Physical and Industrial Security are fully integrated from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall requirements meet mission requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, leveraging their technical expertise to implement innovative solutions and enhance the overall efficiency of our personnel security operations.
Required Qualifications (must possess all requirements to meet qualifications for position at hire):
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relatable field of study;
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with JADE and DISS databases and provide policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for the System Program Office, government agencies and all entities involved in the SAP.
- Minimum of 3 years' SAP experience to include daily operations of JADE and DISS databases associated with SAP Personnel Security Program management.
- Experience in creating and reviewing routine SAP personnel security documents, to include Personal Screening Questionnaires submitted by applicants, program access nomination requests submitted by cleared employees, and administrative security clarification request submitted by industry contractors, and following up to request additional information, as necessary.
- Experience in working with Government, program prime and subcontractor personnel to create a secure environment through development of sound security practices and policies regarding acquisition, physical, personnel and administrative
security; updating security classification guides; preparing personnel security related sections of acquisition program documentation. - Experience in managing a documented Security Education and Training Awareness program in accordance with appropriate directives.
- Experience in administering the physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operations security programs as applied to assigned activities/systems. Ensures all training is conducted in accordance with appropriate directives and is documented.
- Experience in program protection planning activities in support of Special Access Programs (SAPs), including applying advanced security principles to safeguard classified capabilities and information.
- This role may be appointed as primary/alternate Security roles, as needed.
- Must possess an active TS clearance and be SAP clearable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing operational requirements, Capabilities Performance Documents (CPDs) and SAPs.
- Recommended, but not required, Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification.
