Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector including;
1) Experience providing guidance to management on budget executions.
2) Experience allocating funds based on budget estimates and phasing plans.
3) Experience providing advice on status of receipts; obligations and expenditures of funds.
4) Experience generating standard reports regarding financial management documents (e.g. invoices, reports, and travel orders).
5) Experience evaluating financial auditing requirements and establishing/maintaining appropriate internal controls to meet auditing standards.
6) Experience developing recommendations for improvements to financial execution processes and internal controls.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related

- You will provide customer service, review, and process incoming USFFC Ships Maintenance requirements.
- You will perform contract management in care of USFFC Ships Maintenance requirements to include ensuring commitments, obligations, expenditures, liquidations, and/or recoupment transactions flow to the official book of record (Navy ERP) properly.
- You will review and reconcile Navy ERP's Daily Defense Expenditure File (DDEF) and DFAS pre-validation requests as required.
- You will review and validate USFFC Ships Maintenance (N43) Unliquidated Orders (ULO) using ADVANA's Budget Execution Validation System.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
