The selected candidate will provide advanced software development, system integration, and technical support for mission-critical Navy systems. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and system performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting MCCOG systems and mission requirements.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and integrate software solutions across multiple platforms and environments.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of applications.
- Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure software compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including STIG and RMF requirements.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
- Maintain documentation including system design documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for system enhancements and modernization efforts.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development or programming
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Experience working in DoD or federal IT environments
- Experience supporting Navy or NAVSEA programs
- Familiarity with RMF, cybersecurity compliance, and secure coding practices
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
