Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the development and formulation of plans, policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of a marine repair facility; 2) Interpreting directives, instructions, and regulations for impact on program objectives, policies and operations procedures necessary for operating a marine maintenance facilities; 3) Certifying boats and small craft are safe for waterborne use following any type of hull, mechanical or electrical work ; 4) Maintaining a craft and boat supply system; 5) Estimating program maintenance requirements in order to prepare comprehensive plans to facilitate the cost effective execution of the requirements; and 6) Reviewing official contract files to determine that all contractual obligations are satisfied.

- Reading and interpreting engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders.
- Analyzing contract specifications and examining pertinent equipment to determine if specifications are met.
- Analyzing or supervising maintenance, repair, or production operations to determine methods of improvement.
