• Design and guide end-to-end solution architectures, including application, data, integration, and infrastructure components.

• Analyze system interactions, data flows, integration patterns, and enterprise dependencies to ensure cohesive and efficient system design.

• Provide architectural guidance for modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, system transformation, and legacy integration.

• Collaborate with development, data, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment and implementation consistency.

• Lead and participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and governance processes to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

• Identify technical risks, redundancies, and areas of technical debt, and recommend mitigation and optimization strategies.

• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and interoperability requirements.

• Document architecture artifacts including diagrams, models, interface definitions, and technical standards.

• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, program leadership, and stakeholders to align technical direction with business objectives.

• Provide advisory support for technology evaluations, solution selection, and strategic planning.

• Mentor engineering and technical teams, promoting architectural best practices and design consistency.

• Support capture, proposal, and technical planning activities by providing architecture guidance and solution strategies.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, governance processes, and technical standards.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior engineering roles within complex IT environments.

• Deep understanding of multi-tier architectures, distributed systems, integration patterns, and enterprise application ecosystems.

• Experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and modernization strategies.

• Strong knowledge of system design principles, scalability considerations, and secure architecture practices.

• Ability to analyze complex systems and translate findings into actionable architectural guidance.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments.

• Experience with API ecosystems, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven integration approaches.

• Understanding of federal cybersecurity, compliance, and governance requirements.

• Experience contributing to capture strategy, solutioning, or proposal development efforts.

• Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, or Agile frameworks preferred but not required.

EDUCATION:
