Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead technical security assessments and validate robust system security designs.
• Integrate information assurance (IA) and security systems into operational environments, establishing secure architectures and trusted external relations.
• Drive the assessment and mitigation of system security threats, contributing significantly to security planning, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Apply expert knowledge across the system engineering life cycle, including cryptography, system integration, intrusion detection, incident handling, and security testing.
• Provide critical support for security authorization activities, ensuring compliance with RMF processes.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 7+ years
Salary: $229k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Conduct comprehensive technical security assessments and validate system security designs.
• Integrate information assurance (IA) and security systems, building security directly into operational environments.
• Support the development and enforcement of robust security architectures and trusted relations with external systems.
• Perform thorough assessment and mitigation of system security threats.
• Contribute to all phases of security planning, risk analysis, risk management, and certification activities.
• Apply expertise in system security design, engineering life cycle principles, and cryptography.
• Manage system integration, intrusion detection, incident handling, and configuration control activities.
• Lead change management, auditing, and security testing efforts.
• Support security authorization activities, ensuring strict compliance with RMF processes.
• Utilize expertise in Requirements Analysis, System Security, and Systems Engineering.
• Participate in Integration and Test (I&T) and Software Testing.
• Implement Software Configuration Management (traditional) practices.
• Contribute to Software Architecture discussions and implementations.
