Summary:
• Lead Systems Engineering for complex packet-based hardware and software systems.
• Focus on the full system lifecycle, including design, Integration and Test (I&T), deployment, and sustainment.
• Direct end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components.
• Develop and maintain scripts for workflow automation and Linux systems administration.
• Provide technical team leadership, conduct troubleshooting, and ensure lifecycle sustainment.
• Oversee System Security and robust Software Configuration Management practices.

Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 20+ years
Salary: $306k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead and direct Systems Engineering efforts for advanced packet-based hardware and software systems.
• Drive the design, Integration and Test (I&T), deployment, and sustainment of critical system components.
• Spearhead end-to-end systems integration across various hardware, software, and network elements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Bash and Perl scripts for workflow automation and Linux Systems Administration.
• Provide expert Technical Team Leadership, guiding engineers through complex technical challenges.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issues across the lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain rigorous System Security measures and protocols.
• Oversee Software Configuration Management using DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration/Delivery.
• Apply strong skills in Software Testing and Hardware Engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and application of Network Protocols.
• Produce clear and concise Communications/Technical Writing for documentation and reports.
