Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, offering the opportunity to support access activity, deliver strong customer service and communication, and make an impact through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, materials, and/or equipment.
• Support incident reporting, post orders, and shift handoff communications while maintaining professional bearing and following all Allied Universal and site-specific weapon handling requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
