Summary:
Contract hardware development engineer to support the design and development of next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware, including complex PCBA designs with FPGA SoCs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in a dedicated product development lab.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Years of experience: 10+ years
Salary: $301k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design complex PCBs incorporating FPGA SoCs (AMD/Intel platforms)
• Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
• Support system-level hardware architecture decisions
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers on NPI processes
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
• Partner with FPGA/firmware teams on hardware interface definition
• Participate in design reviews
