The Work

The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for the design, configuration, development, implementation, and enhancement, and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This position requires advanced expertise in ERP platforms and involves close collaboration with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant ERP solutions supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, customization, and deployment of ERP modules and applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for ERP solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and data transformation tools.
  • Analyze and optimize existing ERP processes and workflows for efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Lead or participate in ERP data migration initiatives, including data mapping, validation, cleansing, and transfer.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for ERP issues, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Manage ERP software updates, patches, and enhancements, coordinating testing and deployment activities.
  • Ensure ERP system security, data integrity, and compliance with government, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Continually evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve ERP systems and processes.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned .


Qualifications

  • Possesses a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in enterprise application development or related information technology roles.
  • Provides 8 years of experience in IT roles, including at least 2 years of hands-on development experience with PeopleTools.
  • Demonstrates 8 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to working with PeopleTools version 8.59 or higher.
  • Brings 8 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years working with advanced Oracle databases.
  • Offers 8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years performing complex data migrations from legacy systems to PeopleSoft.
  • Brings 8 years of IT experience, including the ability to read and interpret .NET code (C# and VB.NET).
  • Possesses 8 years of overall experience with the capability to read and interpret SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferably has at least 4 years of experience working with public sector organizations, including Federal, State, or Local Government entities.
  • Preferably possesses a minimum of 2 years of experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
  • Preferably demonstrates at least 2 years of experience utilizing Jira for issue tracking and project management.
  • Preferably has at least 1 year of experience working with the Scrum framework.

Working Conditions
