KBR's Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. KBR is seeking a journeyman financial associate to support operations at NAS Pax River, to support our E3 Program operations. This is a full time on site position.

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

KBR is seeking a journeyman financial associate to support operations at NAS Pax River, to support our E3 Program operations. This is a full time on site position.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and forecasts for multiple efforts
- Coordinating and tracking funding for various groups, agencies, and contracts
- Drafting and reviewing statements of work, interagency support agreements, and cost estimates
- Coordinating procurement requests
- Supporting data calls, audit inquiries, and financial documentation requests
- Performing analytical and administrative tasks as required
- Monitoring and reporting expenditures and performance to ensure costs are met and funding is in place to avoid work stoppages
- Interfacing with multiple teams and agencies
- Provides financial and/or accounting support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, or other organizational support elements and other activities. Performs managerial/cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, manpower management, workload, acquisition, document management, system support, and financial analyses to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources, making recommendations for improving operations, systems, and reporting. Utilizes Navy ERP to perform financial execution functions. Provides support to a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls, which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with an active/current DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Years of Experience & Education Requirements: BS or BA degree and 2 years of experience supporting a business. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Time management and task prioritization
- Good communication and writing skills (technical writing skills preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
